Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.
Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.
As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.
With this bold and deeply personal novel, Colleen Hoover delivers a heart-wrenching story that breaks exciting new ground for her as a writer. Combining a captivating romance with a cast of all-too-human characters, It Ends With Us is an unforgettable tale of love that comes at the ultimate price.

Just finished this one.. Colleen Hoover I ❤️ you with my everything….this book was…ugh I can’t get the words out….emotional for me at least and why…well I have dealt with some of the topics in this story so it only made for a much more real life experience.

So I wrote this review back when I finished this book in June and for some reason its all most all wiped away here on GR so I have to re-write it.

There is so much I want to say about this book, so much I want to tell you but you read the blurb so you know what’s going to go on but there is so much more….if there is one book you must read this year it’s this one!!!! Why because it touches on some subjects that are hard to deal with, emotions lots of people have dealt with and it makes you question things all over again. And its just SO DANG GOOD!!!!

“And that night I showed up at your door? I went searching for you because no one in the history of m life ever crawled under my skin and refused to leave like you did. I didn’t know how to handle it. And the reason I sent you flowers this week is because I am really, really, proud of you for following your dreams. But if I sent you flowers every time I’ve had the urge to send you flowers, you wouldn’t even be able to fit inside your apartment. Because that’s how much I think about you. And yes. Lily. You’re right. I am hurting you, but I’m hurting too. And until tonight …I didn’t know why.”

I love Lily and Ryle A LOT they are super cute together and there connection is hot! But there is so much more there and when you start to get to know them things start to unravel and you just want to jump inside the book and fix it all. Lily past is intense and Ryle is man who needs to find that right path and how do these two find that together? Will they? Or are will the past and future come together and make them question everything.

“Are you sure about this, Ryle?” He runs his hands through my hair and pulls my face to his, brushing his lips against mine. “Naked truth.” he whispers. ” I’m so excited to be your husband, I could piss my damn pants.”

There were so many emotions in this book, and while I read it and each character just found a place in my heart. I have been asked a lot if this one is a HEA and I cant answer that because it all depends on what you think of the book and how you felt reading it. For me is was a HEA in a sense but that’s about all you get.

Some reviews I can write forever about how I felt and all that fun stuff but I think this one is bet left to just saying its EPIC, it’s a book that will keep you on your toes and make you breath deep at the end. Thank you again Colleen for this book you always seems to out do yourself I cant wait to see what’s next and maybe more from some of the characters’ in this one!
