About the Author
isa Desrochers lives in northern California with her husband, two very busy daughters, and Shini the tarantula. If you’d told her five years ago she’d write a book, she’d have laughed in your face. As it turns out, she’d owe you an apology. Writing has become an addiction for Lisa and A Little Too Far, courtesy of HarperCollins, is her first novel for adults. She is also the author of the young adult Personal Demons trilogy from Macmillan. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, and she adores stories that take her to new places, and then take her by surprise.
* What’s one of your favorite scenes from your book?
I always love the sex scenes (Confession: I write them first ;p), but my favorite scene in A LITTLE TOO MUCH that’s not a spoiler is
* Which character did you have the most fun getting to know?
Jess is one of my favorite secondary characters in any of my books. She’s just a crazy contradiction, and so full of energy, but also a totally awexome friend. Abby from A LITTLE TOO FAR is a close second.
* Which of your characters would you have been friends with?
Hilary. She’s that combination of brutally honest and loyal to a fault, and I think we could be besties.
* What’s one of your favorite swoon worthy reads you’d recommend to our readers?
RULE by Jay Crownover. I read it this spring, and it’s still on top of my favorites for the year. Rule Archer has ruined me for all other men, fictional or otherwise.
* If you could, which of your favorite swoon worthy characters (TV, book or movie) would you include in your series? Why?
Confession: I don’t watch TV, and my favorites from movies are all Avengers, which wouldn’t really fly in my contemporary novels, so I’ll have to say Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights, because he’s just so deliciously twisted, and I love to write tormented characters.
